19. The Second Trimester Checklist: DPChallenge

The Mommy Lists

I am compiling my second trimester checklist. I find checklists very useful. They keep me on time and well organized.

I am at our public library. It is one of my favorite places. I come here often to work, study or read. I am surrounded with books and that inspire me.

I am halfway done with my list. The effort and time I am putting into it will pay off at the end. I stand up to take a break. I walk to the magazine section to check the latest issues. I notice the fashion magazines and smile to myself. In my mind I relive the crazy rush for finding a suitable dress for me for Myriam’s wedding.

I did find a dress at the last minute. I love it. It is a satin navy blue mid-calf dress; very chic and appropriate for the occasion.

I pick up a parenting magazine and leaf through it. An article on maternity fashion catches my attention. I still favor the sweatpants and oversized t-shirts but maybe I should give these maternity designs a try.

I’ll leave that for another day. I need to finish my checklist and go home.
