Day 3

My morning sickness has started. I constantly feel drained and tired. As for the nausea and vomiting, what a mess! The nausea is not only in the morning but also at noon, afternoon, evening and night. It is constant.

The most innocuous smells make me want to run to the nearest bathroom. Having been healthy all my life, this constant state of discomfort is quite unpleasant.

If I am going to survive these next few months, I have to be creative. Tea is my panacea. A cup of hot tea anytime of the day and night soothes my upset stomach.

I already compiled two important checklists:

1-Food to avoid during pregnancy.

2-Healthy food list.

Above all I have to follow Dr Lee’s recommendations:

Stay healthy.

Eat healthy.

Take a daily prenatal vitamin.


Follow a mild exercise program.

  1. Congratulations. The first time is always so exciting, scary and unbelievable. Rejoice in this time. Make sure to record your journey. It will be a forever keepsake to your little one.

    As for the morning sickness…. (this is my mantra), this too shall pass. It is different for each woman. Make sure to take the overwhelming experiences of your family, friends, acquaintances, and even strangers go in one ear and out the other. There are never two like experiences. Rejoice in this gift.
